Building & Grounds Committee
The Building and Grounds Committee is responsible for the care, maintenance, and improvement of church property. This includes oversight of structural needs, interior upkeep, exterior landscaping, furnishings, safety features, and accessibility considerations. The committee monitors the condition of the facility, coordinates repairs, secures contractors when needed, and ensures that the church building remains functional, safe, and welcoming.
Planning for long-term maintenance and stewardship is an important part of the committee’s work. They may establish annual maintenance calendars, budget needs, emergency repair plans, and improvement projects that align with ministry goals. By preserving the physical environment of the church, the committee enables worship, outreach, and community partnerships to take place in a clean, secure, and well-cared-for setting.
